On the whole, we've found that children have reported experiencing good levels of kindness from other children and staff in our schools. The majority of pupils see their peers and teachers as kind and on the whole they are able to approach teachers with any issues or worries.
Experiencing positive cases of kindness is not the case for all children. We have found that experiences of kindness appear to decrease with age, for disabled children and those with additional needs - particularly boys within this group.
As well as defining what they think kindness means, the children were asked to share their opinions on what they feel could help improve and drive kindness in their own communities...
