Introduction

<p>What is SEHS-~S?</p> <p>The SEHS-S is a comprehensive survey developed at the University of California (Furlong et al., 2020). It's desigtned to measure positive aspects of well-being across four key domains</p> <p>Belief-In-Self: Your confidence and self-efficacy</p> <p>Belief-In-Others:  Your trust and support from family, peers and school.</p> <p>Emotional Competence: Your ability to manage and understand emotions.</p> <p>Engaged Living : Your enthusiasm and zest for life.</p> <p>Why is this survey important?</p> <p>Strengths-Based Approach : The SEHS-S identifies your strenghts rather than focusing on deficits.</p> <p>Informed Decisions: Results guide our Senior Leadership Team in supporting students' emotional well-being.</p> <p>Universal Screening: The survey assesses the social-emotional assets of all secondary students, not just those struggling.</p> <p>What will you be asked?</p> <p>The survey consistss of 36 questions divided inot 12 sub scales, each with 3 questios. These subscales include topics like Self-Efficacy, Persistence, Empathy, and Gratitude, among others.</p> <p>You'll be asked to respond on a 4-point scale, ranging from 1 (Not a all true) to 4 (Very much true). Higher scores indicate greater social-emotional strenghts.</p> <p>Is it Reliable?</p> <p>Yes, extensive research supports the releiability and validity of the SEHS-S. It has been effecitvely used with diverse groups of students across the world.</p>
